This series includes the following components

Food for VCE: Food Studies offers a comprehensive, flexible and genuinely engaging approach for every student.

Written specifically for the 2023 VCE Study Design by experienced teachers and examiners, Food for VCE provides comprehensive curriculum coverage and embeds cross-study specifications throughout the textbooks.

The series includes:

the best assessment and exam preparation available to guide students to success in VCE, including exam-style questions, activities to develop skills for the Unit 4 research inquiry report, and advice on how to unpack exam questions;
a range of practical and inquiry activities, as well as glossary definitions to help students understand and use food terminology with ease;
compelling content for the theoretical aspects of Food Studies, including current case studies and examples across a range of media, and visual aids that help make sense of the key knowledge and skills;
carefully chosen language, case studies and recipes – underpinned by the Australian Dietary Guidelines – that are accessible to all students without compromising the depth of content;
interactive resources including videos, infographics, auto-marked quizzes and more;
a Teacher Resource Package with dedicated support tools including teaching plans, unseen assessment items, and suggested solutions and marking criteria for textbook activities*.

Interactive Textbook

The online version of the student text delivers a host of interactive features to enhance the teaching and learning experience of the student text. It is accessed online through Cambridge GO using a unique 16-character code supplied with the Print Textbook, or available for purchase separately as a digital-only option.

The Interactive Textbook is available as a calendar-year subscription. Your subscription term is defined as follows: if activation occurs between January and July of this year, subscription concludes on 31 December this year. If activation occurs between August and December of this year, subscription concludes on 31 December the following year.

Offline Textbook

The downloadable offline version of the student text enables students to take notes, highlight key passages, and bookmark pages. It is available from Cambridge GO using the unique 16-character code that is included with the purchase of the Print Textbook and the Interactive Textbook.

Teacher Resource Package

Downloadable teacher support materials are available for purchase separately as a unique 16-character code. Once purchased the resources can be downloaded through a Cambridge GO teacher account and stored on your school network.

The Teacher Resource Package can be accessed via Cambridge GO, using the enclosed 16-character access code. The code may be activated once only in one unique teacher account. Downloaded materials may be placed on your school network for use by other teachers at your school and are available through Cambridge GO for a period 5 years after activation.

The Interactive Textbook and Offline/PDF Textbook are not included in the Teacher Resource Package. These are available via the access code on the inside of your teacher copy of the student book or available for purchase separately from our online store or your Education bookseller.
