About the authors

Cambridge Legal Studies Stage 6 Sixth Edition provides comprehensive coverage of the syllabus, including all seven options in the Year 12 course. The most widely covered HSC options are included in the student print text, while the extended digital version includes additional topics and chapters.

Updated and highly topical case studies, media articles, legislation and statistics reflecting recent changes in the law, ensure students are engaging with the most up-to-date material available and can apply their knowledge to real-world situations.

The sixth edition also contains:

  • Two new chapters in Year 11 Law in Practice: a study of Sean Turnell, a previously detained economic policy advisor in Myanmar, and a research-based chapter on Drugs and the Law.
  • New content in the Year 11 Individual and Technology chapter, including data breaches, surveillance capitalism and Artificial Intelligence.
  • New ‘Analysis’ activities and updated ‘Review’ and ‘Research’ activities to provide Assessment for Learning* opportunities to help students understand their progress.
  • Comprehensive exam and assessment preparation support, including dot-point summaries of themes and challenges, chapter summaries, additional exam-style multiple-choice and extended-response questions and more.
  • Updated Interactive Textbooks that support students visually through rich media, rollover glossary definitions, interactive activities, extended material, and additional digital-only topics.
