A time for anniversaries

50 years ago this month...
  • The first astronauts landed on the moon...and
  • Cambridge University Press opened its Australian office.

An agent for the Press was first established in Australia way back in 1892 with an official local branch opening in July 1969.

India Moon launch fails:
This week India were forced to abandon their attempt at a soft landing on the far side of the moon, but Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has set a date of 2022 for the country's first manned spaceflight.
